Project Overview
Terter Irrigation & Water Management
The project was implemented to improve irrigation water supply, increase water-use efficiency, and provide reliable irrigation services to approximately 9,500 ha of agricultural land. Solar power plant facilities were also built to support the energy needs and sustainability of the irrigation system.
Scope of Work
- Construction of approximately 130 km of HDPE irrigation pipelines
- Three pumping stations with associated hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and civil infrastructure
- Solar power plant facilities supporting the irrigation system
- Engineering design, design review, and hydraulic assessments
- Project management, construction supervision, quality control, testing and commissioning, and contract administration
